Any suggestions for a 125 pound person? I’m a side sleeper, sleep alone and would like lots of cushioning. I’m in Canada and am willing to pay for a premium mattress. Also, thoughts on foam vs latex?

Thank you

It feels like laying on cement. This is the opposite of most reviews so we are a little confused. I am 125 pounds and a side sleeper. Any suggestions. I live in Canada

I am moving from a queen traditional sealy mattress to a king for my new apt. I am one person…but want to upgrade since I have the space. I need a new frame and mattress.
Last two mattresses I bought at traditional store. My neighbor rave about Saatva but still a little pricey with the 300$ box.
Any ideas on Cal king vs traditional king?
I am going all in since I need to replace all my bedding and such but fresh start

Do you have any suggestions for a mattress for a 300plus person?

Your site is game changing. Do you have any review information on 14″ Hybrid Cool Gel Memory Foam Mattress by Sven & Son? I am interested but am hesitant to purchase without seeing what you think. Thanks for all that you do!

What would you recommend for the stomach and side combination sleepers? Most nights I fall asleep on my stomach and wake on on my side. I currently experience back, shoulder and neck pain after sleeping. Im not sure which mattress would best accommodate my needs, with support and
pressure relief at an affordable price (under $1000 for Full size bed).
Weight: Appox 180lbs

Thank you in advance!

Companies will often use natural latex, cotton, and wool to make organic mattresses.

Depends on what kind of sleeper you are. Side sleeper, probably the side. Back sleeper, can get away with the 10″.

I’ve been trying to contact them about returning this mattress because it is too firm for us and it sleeps hot. I’ve just discovered your site with a bit of info that confirms my question that they have closed down. This really aggravates me that we gave them a try by ordering online and I hardly ever trust doing this. They had the 100 day guarantee and now it looks like we are stuck with this mattress that my husband refuses to sleep on. Is there any way we can contact someone about this??

Thank you,

Lisa

All of your reviews are so well done I was wondering if you have experienced any allergic reactions to any of the memory foam beds. I am terribly allergic to Novosbed mattress and pillows. I have yet to contact them but will soon. I have had it less than 30 days. My eyes became extremely itchy and eyelids and below eyes are very red and skin has become dry and flaky. Experience a burning sensation around eyes as well.
Any thoughts? Would appreciate your input.

Hi Karen, so you have a couple options here. If you want to raise the entire frame, you could simply add a set of plastic bed risers under the legs of the frame. Something like this – http://amzn.to/2pYIsJG

If you’re looking to raise the mattress, but keep the original frame height, you could add a boxspring or low profile foundation.

My favorite current box spring by far is the Classic Brands 8″ all wood box spring spring, see here: http://amzn.to/2aX1k3f

If you want to go with a traditional box spring it’s hard to beat this one. Easy to assemble, great price, crafted by the Amish, just a great all around choice.

If you want something lower profile I also really like their 4″ foundation, see here: http://amzn.to/2bczygT

Finally, the most expensive option is the Loom & Leaf box spring. It is a bit pricey at $150 for a Twin size, but it is also the nicest box spring I have tested to date. If you have the extra money to spend and like the idea of a more luxurious boxspring, see here: http://sleepopolis.com/loom-and-leaf/

When you’re trying to find the right height for your bed, try doing a couple “mock-ups” using couches, chairs, etc. See what it feels like laying on and getting off surfaces at different heights to find the right fit for you.

Please let me know if there are any other questions I can help with. Thanks!

Having surgery & need for bed to be a better height for getting up & down. The mattress sinks down to the side board / frame of bed, to low! Bed does have a head board & foot board. What’s the best way of raising bed and know what’s the right height for me, I’m 5 3″. I thank you in advance.
